Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how American Medical Education Advancement Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operating the AI Clinician Academy, collects and uses your information when you create an account, purchase, or use our online courses. Our courses are hosted on the Thinkific platform, and Thinkific processes much of your information on our behalf as described below.

2. What information we collect

When you subscribe to our site to receive free or paid products, including online courses, eBooks, and webinars, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name and email address. We also collect device-specific information such as your operating system version and device type to enhance your experience.

For a healthcare-education audience, we may also collect your professional role or credential (for example, MD, DO, NP, PA, or RN) if you provide it, in order to tailor course recommendations. We do not ask for, and you should never submit, any patient information or protected health information (PHI) through our site, your account, or any course discussion feature.

3. How we get your consent

When you provide personal information to subscribe, make a purchase, or consume a digital product, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either ask directly for your express consent or provide an opportunity to opt out.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at unsubscribe@aiclinicianacademy.com.

4. Payment

If you make a purchase, we use a third-party payment processor such as Stripe/Thinkific Payments. Payment card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase. We do not store your full payment card number on our own systems.

5. Third-party services

In general, third-party providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us. Our course platform, Thinkific, hosts the courses and processes account, progress, and purchase data on our behalf under its own privacy policy and data-processing terms. Certain providers, such as payment processors, have their own privacy policies. We recommend you read them. Once you leave our site or are redirected to a third-party site, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

6. Email marketing

We may send you emails about our site, related services, products, or updates. We may also use your email to inform you about new products, changes, surveys, or to seek your opinion. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

7. Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Payment information is encrypted using SSL and handled under PCI-DSS. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies or similar tracking technologies to recognize your device and provide a personalized experience. We may use automated tracking to measure performance and engagement. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently alter our practices when we detect one. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or to refuse cookies.

9. Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law, such as in response to a court order or an investigation, or if our business is acquired or merged with another company, in which case your information may be transferred to the new owners.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Residents of California, and of other states or countries with applicable privacy laws, may have additional rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dataprivacy@aiclinicianacademy.com.

11. Age of consent

By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and the age of majority in your state of residence. Our courses are intended for healthcare professionals and are not directed to children.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. If we make material changes, we will notify you here.

13. Questions and contact information
